Tolga Cemal Sümer
Tattoo Artist
He was born on February 22, 1982 in Istanbul. His biggest hobby since childhood has been drawing.
At the age of 17, he entered the Painting department of Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts with second place, but he thought that the painting department was not for him. One year later, he entered Mimar Sinan University-Stage Decoration Design department.
Subsequently, he started working as a cartoonist in Kemik humor magazine in 2002.

Respectively; He drew cartoons for many years in Kemik, Lombak, Penguen and Gırgır humor magazines. In addition, he made designs and storyboards for various advertising agencies.
He retired from cartooning in 2011 and started practicing tattoo art. He established his own studio towards the end of 2011 and put it into operation in 2012. He won a total of 5 awards in the realistic, portrait and Best of Show categories at the 2014 and 2015 Istanbul Tattoo Convention.
He worked at BigFella Art (formerly Comics Tattoo) untill 2023, which he founded in 2011.
He spends half of the year working at Paul Acker’s studio The Seance in Philadelphia, USA and the other half in Istanbul, where he continues his tattoo work in both locations.
